ProFincalu is built around a simple privacy principle: your numbers stay on your device. This page explains exactly what we do and don't collect when you use the site.

  • No calculator inputs are sent to us. All math runs in your browser.

  • Minimal analytics. Aggregate, anonymous traffic data only — never personal data tied to you.

1. Who we are

ProFincalu ("we", "us", "our") is a free finance calculator website operated by a two-person team — Nizar Ali Khan (development) and Awais (content writing). You can reach us any time through the contact page.

2. What data we collect

We collect as little as possible. Specifically:

  • Calculator inputs: none. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. We do not log, store, or transmit your numbers.
  • Aggregate analytics: page views, referral sources, country, device type, and broad performance metrics.
  • Contact form submissions: the name, email, and message you send through our contact form.

3. Why we collect it

  • To understand which tools and pages are useful so we can improve them.
  • To detect and fix performance or technical issues.
  • To respond to questions, bug reports, and calculator requests.

We never sell your data, share it for marketing, or build profiles on individual users.

4. Cookies & local storage

We use a small number of cookies and local-storage entries:

  • Essential storage — used to remember preferences such as your selected currency.
  • Analytics cookies — used by tools like Google Analytics for aggregate, anonymous traffic measurement.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will continue to work; analytics will simply not be recorded for your visit.

5. Third-party services

We use a small set of trusted third-party services:

  • Hosting & CDN — to serve the site fast and securely worldwide.
  • Google Analytics — for anonymous usage statistics. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not currently run advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or data-broker scripts.

6. Contact form data

When you submit our contact form, your name, email, and message are used solely to reply to your enquiry. We do not add you to a mailing list, sell your details, or share them with anyone outside our two-person team unless you ask us to.

7. Your rights

Under privacy laws such as the GDPR (EU/EEA) and the CCPA (California), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of that information.
  • Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
  • Opt out of analytics by disabling cookies in your browser.

To exercise any of these rights, send us a message via the contact page. We respond within 30 days.

8. Children's privacy

ProFincalu is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Data security

We use HTTPS encryption, modern hosting, and a privacy-by-design architecture (no input storage at all). No method is 100% secure, but we work to keep risks low and fix any issues quickly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the site evolves. Material changes will be shown by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
